Dice Burst FAQ

Is Dice Burst free?

Yes. The browser version and the Android app are free. The app shows ads between games, and a one-time purchase removes them. Watching a short video is always optional.

Can I play Dice Burst online without downloading?

Yes. The game on the home page runs in your browser. It needs a browser with WebGL 2. If yours does not have it, the page shows a link to the app instead.

Is my progress saved?

In the browser, your records and settings are saved on this device in your browser's storage. The app keeps them on your phone.

Can I continue an unfinished game?

No. An unfinished game is not saved, in the browser or in the app. Your high scores, records and settings are kept.

Does Dice Burst work offline?

The Android app plays offline and needs no account. The browser version needs an internet connection to open.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. Dice Burst is on Google Play for Android, and you can play in the browser on any phone.

How do chains work?

Each merge lifts every die touching it by one pip. If that makes another three alike, they merge too, and so on.

Why can I no longer use a cell?

A die that drops in by itself hardens if you do not merge or lift it before its countdown ends. Later in a game, empty cells can harden too. A hardened cell stays blocked for the rest of the game.

How do I get a joker?

Your first joker is free, and then the gauge gives one for every 10,000 points. You hold one at a time.

What happens when the board is full?

The game ends. In the app you can watch an optional video to clear the lowest dice and keep going.
